Terms and Conditions
1. Session Description:

Non-membership sessions are individual tutoring sessions available for booking on a per-session basis.
2. Payment Policy:

All payments must be made via secure online payments using a credit card and must be made at the time of booking.

For Japanese residents, payments can also be made using LINE. Email andrea.rohde@transcendlearningservices.com for this payment option.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

Cancellation:
-
Individual sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

Cancellations made more than 1 hour but less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will be charged 50% of the full lesson.

Lessons canceled less than 1 hour before the scheduled start time, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full session amount.

Rescheduling: Sessions can be rescheduled at any time, provided the reschedule request is made more than 24 hours in advance.
4. Transfer of Sessions:

Sessions can be transferred to immediate family members only. Requests for transferring sessions must be made in writing and approved by Transcend Learning Services.
5. Session Format:

Sessions are available online. For online sessions, a reliable internet connection and appropriate device are required.
6. Behavioral Expectations:

Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow the tutor's instructions during sessions. Disruptive behavior may result in termination of the session without a refund.
7. Confidentiality:

All student information is kept confidential and is only used for the purpose of providing tutoring services. We comply with relevant data protection laws to ensure your privacy.
8. Limitation of Liability:

Transcend Learning Services is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the services provided.
9. Force Majeure:

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseeable events.
10. Communication of Changes:

Any changes to these terms and conditions will be communicated via email and posted on the Transcend Learning Services website. It is the responsibility of the client to stay informed about any updates.
